Step 4 - The Format

TLG Radio will feature continuous, 24 hour a day, programming dedicated to empowering the station's listeners.

The station's programming will be of the Talk-Radio format with each program featuring its own passionate host.

The station will provide programming on all areas of life, including Everyday Living programming like :

• Beauty : Focusing on advice and answering questions about just looking good.

• Computers and Electronics : Programming focusing principally on computers while also touching upon other Electronic devices (i.e : Cell Phones. Video Games. Flat-Screen TV's). Advice on Computer Hardware and Software. Troubleshooting tips. Answering questions. News.

• Cooking and Nutrition : Wondering what to make for dinner? Need some advice on purchasing Stainless Steel cookware? Wondering what role Vitamin B12 plays in the body and about its natural sources? Tune into this program.

• Gardening and Landscaping : Extremely popular topic for homeowners, this show would feature a host who was passionate about the outside of the home.

• Cars : An integral part of modern society. This show would feature news and reviews about makes and models. New technology (particularly "Green" vehicles). Advice on repairs and maintenance and, of course, open-lines for answering questions.

• Health and Fitness : This program would focus on physiological health, illness, medication, alternative medicine, and, fitness, weight-training, cardiovascular exercise, supplementation. Advice and answering questions.

• Interior Decorating & Renovation : For all those fans of shows like Debbie Travis' Facelift, Holmes On Homes, and other Home Renovation TV shows; now the tips and tricks of beautifying one's little castle can be tuned into while driving the car, at work, and going for a jog.
  

Also more esoteric, Big Picture, programming, like :

• Politics : At this stage of evolution, humanity still employs the governing of social order and resources by the few. With this in mind, it is vitally important that everyone understand the models and mechanisms being used to govern them. This programming would explore politics in real time and delve into explanations of political schools of thought for further elaboration of the happenings in the real world.

• Economy : Right now in 2009, the world's economy is reeling but nearly everyone has not the slightest understanding as to why. This programming would explore the various Economic models employed globally and explore the causes of economic downturns.

• History : "Those who do not know history, are bound to repeat it." (Kahlil Gibran) This program would be essential for all listeners, who in today's world are now part of a Global Villag. The programming would explore the entirety of history and how old human patterns persist through the centuries, until education and understanding amend them.

• Science : “The progress of science is the discovery at each step of a new order which gives unity to what had seemed unlike.” (Jacob Bronkowski) It is absolutely essential that absolutely everyone have an understanding of scientific theory and research. The Art of Science surrounds and influences every aspect of modern life. This programming would explore and explain material from every branch of science, for the elucidation of the listeners.

As per the Talk-Radio format, all the station's programs will feature the Call-In segment.
The implementation of Call-In's will be up to the discretion of the show's Host.
Sometimes Call-In's will be incorporated throughout the show, other times the end of the show will be dedicated to the Host taking the calls of listeners.
The purpose of TLG Radio is for listeners to learn and grow; to this end, the passive reception of information via listening is vitally important, as to, is the active participation of the listener through vocally expressing their thoughts and questions and receiving individually tailored responses, dependent, of course, on the time available to the program and Host.

Further, depending entirely on the interest of the Host, ongoing interaction via the Internet-Provided tools of Email and Online Forums, could also be provided by the station to facilitate continued discussions sparked by the show.

TLG Radio hosts will be given creative freedom to design their programs.
TLG Radio believes that people are at their best and happiest when they are free to express themselves according to their passions.
TLG Radio believes that being happy is fundamental to human health and well-being and creative freedom is integral to this.
